Confirmed respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use Confirmed’s services, websites, and applications (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
What this means for you: We collect information you give us, information from your device
use, and information from third-party integrations.
- Information you provide: name, email, meeting details, networking event information, preferences, and account settings.
- Information automatically collected: device identifiers, log data, IP addresses, browser type, usage patterns, and cookies.
- Information from integrations: when you connect to Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, LinkedIn, or other platforms, we may collect calendar data, authentication tokens, or profile details. Authentication is handled entirely by the provider via an industry-respected authentication service provider; Confirmed never receives or stores your password.
- Information entered by team administrators: if you are part of a Team Edition account, administrators may input or manage information about you.
What this means for you: We use your data to operate and improve Confirmed.
- Deliver, maintain, and personalize the Services.
- Facilitate scheduling, networking, and data sharing.
- Provide artificial intelligence features.
- Support team administrators in managing accounts.
- Provide customer support.
- Monitor usage for fraud prevention, security, and product improvement.
- Comply with legal requirements.
What this means for you: AI helps enhance the service but may involve third-party vendors, and results may not always be perfect.
- Confirmed may use AI, developed internally or by independent third-party vendors, to improve features and user experience.
- While we take precautions, some AI vendors may not allow full control or restriction of data.
- AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Confirmed disclaims liability for reliance on such outputs.
- You may not use AI-generated results for unlawful or infringing purposes.
What this means for you: You control what info is sharable. Once shared, others may keep it.
- Information you mark as non-sharable will not be shared.
- If you mark information as sharable and approve a connection at an event, that information may remain accessible to the approved participant indefinitely.
- Confirmed is not responsible for how another participant uses shared data.
What this means for you: Team administrators may access or manage your data.
- Administrators of your Confirmed Team Edition account may access and manage your account, including scheduled meetings, shared data, connections, and settings.
- Information entered by administrators is treated as property of the organization that owns the account.
- If the team account is deleted, administrators may retain access to information entered by the organization.
- Confirmed is not responsible for misuse by administrators.
What this means for you: Public data you enter may be used to improve Confirmed.
- If you enter information that is publicly available (such as an address of a meeting place or
event organized by a group), you grant Confirmed explicit rights to use it to improve the Services for all users. - This does not apply to personal data you mark as private.
What this means for you: Confirmed uses cookies and similar tools. You can control them,
but some features may not work without them.
- Confirmed uses cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to analyze usage, improve Services, and support advertising.
- You can control cookies via your browser settings, but disabling them may limit functionality.
- Third-party advertising partners may use cookies for targeted ads. You can opt out of some targeted advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative(https://optout.networkadvertising.org) or Digital Advertising Alliance (https://optout.aboutads.info).
What this means for you: We protect your data and don’t store payment card numbers.
- Confirmed uses encryption and commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your data.
- We do not store complete credit card numbers or payment credentials. Payments are processed by industry-respected third-party providers.
- In the event of a data breach that compromises your information, we will notify you as required by law.
What this means for you: We keep your data only as long as necessary.
- Confirmed retains personal data as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, comply with law, enforce agreements, or support business needs.
- When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.
What this means for you: We follow industry standards and applicable laws.
- Confirmed complies with reasonable industry-standard privacy and data practices, including GDPR and CCPA where applicable.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. We will honor these rights in accordance with applicable law.
What this means for you: California residents have specific rights.
- California residents may request:
- Disclosure of categories and specific pieces of personal information collected.
- Deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Information about whether personal data is sold or shared.
- Confirmed does not and will not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share data as described in this Policy (e.g., with your consent, with service providers, or as required by law).
- To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 17.
What this means for you: We may share data if required by law or during corporate
transactions.
- Confirmed may disclose personal information if required by law, subpoena, or lawful government request.
- If Confirmed is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
What this means for you: Confirmed is not for under-16 users.
- The Services are not directed to individuals under sixteen (16).
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under sixteen.
What this means for you: Third-party integrations have their own rules.
- If you connect Confirmed with other services (Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, LinkedIn, etc.), those providers may collect or process data under their own privacy policies.
- Confirmed is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.
What this means for you: Pennsylvania law governs this Policy.
- This Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles
What this means for you: We may update this Policy, and continued use means acceptance.
- Confirmed may update this Policy at any time.
- Material changes will be communicated through the Services, by email, or by other reasonable means.
- By continuing to use the Services after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly.
