By using www.ConfirmedApp.com, any of our apps, websites, software or services, you agree to be bound by the terms in this Privacy Policy and in the Confirmed Terms & Conditions.

Confirmed (“Confirmed”) collects data to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our services. You provide some of this data directly, such as when you create a Confirmed account, schedule a meeting, or set up your preferences. We get some of it by recording how you interact with our services by, for example, using technologies like cookies, and receiving error reports or usage data from software running on your device.

Confirmed uses the data we collect to provide you the services we offer, which includes using data to improve and personalize your experiences and to help you communicate with other people. We also may use the data to communicate with you, for example, informing you about your account, security updates and product information. We use the data you enter about other people to perform the activities you request us to perform on your behalf, including emailing them to offer or confirm your meeting, and keep that data in your account so it can be used for similar purposes at a later date.

We share your personal data with your consent or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any service you have requested or authorized. We also share data with employees and vendors working on our behalf in order to deliver the service. If law enforcement has valid reason and authorization to request data, we may share it with them as appropriate. If we sell the company or the service, we may include the sale of the data as part of the sale of the company or service.

From time to time, Confirmed may use aggregate data to enhance the way we provide our services. For instance, we may look at the statistics of the way you or others have used the system to determine how to make experiences better or faster, use meeting location data to enhance our offering or to provide you with discounts or relevant information.

Confirmed, may, at its discretion, use cookies (small text files placed on your device) and similar technologies to provide our services and help collect data. Cookies allow us, among other things, to store your preferences and settings; enable you to sign-in; provide targeted interest-based advertising; combat fraud; and analyze how our services are performing. We may also use other identifiers, such as login accounts, IP addresses, website activity or authorizations through social logins or other technologies for similar purposes.

We may use web beacons or tracking pixels to help deliver cookies and gather usage and performance data about our services. Our services may include web beacons and cookies from third-party service providers.

Your browser and other tools may give you the ability to control the usage of cookies and beacons, and may impact your experiences with our services. Confirmed is primarily a cloud based service that stores data on the cloud and on your local device in order to operate effectively. We use industry accepted practices to protect data, including protected accounts and encryption of particularly sensitive information. In the case that our data is compromised, we’ll use industry accepted practices to notify our users based on the type of compromise. For protection of our users, in most cases, there will be no data stored on our services that are classified by industry standards as sensitive information. For instance, we do not store your credit card data. It is passed directly by you to the processing bank or financial institution, who advises us that you have paid for your account without sending us the credit card data.

When you sign up for and login to your account using an external authorization, such as but not limited to Google login or LinkedIn login, Confirmed does not receive nor store your username and password on our servers. Instead, the authenticator (in this example, Google or LinkedIn) verifies your identity for Confirmed to allow you to create and login to your Confirmed account. Your use of those accounts is governed by the privacy policies of those entities, and is not related to this Privacy Policy.

In some cases, we connect to other accounts via APIs (application programmer interfaces) provided by those vendors to enhance the experience. For instance, you may decide to link your Confirmed account to your Google account so you can access your Google contacts and calendar items through Confirmed. This information is used strictly for operation of the system, and in strict adherence to the guidelines of the API from that vendor.

If Confirmed sends you to websites or services not operated by Confirmed (ex: Google Maps), this Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to your interaction with such external websites or services, which may have their own privacy policies.

Any of these vendors, services, APIs or authentication sources may ask you upon initial connection or at various times as you use them to approve your data being utilized by Confirmed. If you do not allow Confirmed to use the data when asked, it may affect your ability to use Confirmed.

This section provides additional details about the personal information we collect about California consumers and the rights afforded to them under the California Consumer Privacy Act or “CCPA.”

We collect this information for the business and commercial purposes described in the How We Use Personal Data, Reasons We Share Personal Data and How We Use Non-Personal Data sections above. We share this information for authentication and providing the service as described in the Cloud Based Service section and APIs and Login via Google, LinkedIn or Other Authentication section.

Confirmed does not sell (as such term is defined in the CCPA) the personal information we collect (and will not sell it without providing a right to opt out). Please note that we do use third-party cookies as further described in the Cookies & Similar Technologies section above.

Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request to know more details about the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect (including how we use and disclose this information), to delete their personal information, to opt out of any “sales” that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California consumers may make a request pursuant to their rights under the CCPA by contacting us at privacy@confirmedapp.com. We will verify your request using the information associated with your account, including email address. Government identification may be required. Consumers can also designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on their behalf.

Confirmed may periodically change the terms of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Websites, apps, and Services after we post a revised Privacy Policy on the Website signifies your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the revised Policy. It is therefore important for you to review this Privacy Policy on a regular basis and inform yourself of any changes. If you don’t agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Services and close your Confirmed account.

This privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Allegheny County in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States of America.

Confirmed is operated by Confirmed LLC. As long as the service is owned and operated by Confirmed LLC, any reference to “Confirmed” as an entity, “we” or “us” in this Privacy Policy or Confirmed Terms & Conditions is synonymous with a reference to “Confirmed LLC”
